About Dr. Roth
I am a licensed psychologist and New Jersey certified school psychologist providing psychological and psycho-educational services to children, adolescents, and families. I am committed to helping my clients meet their goals through a goal directed, action-oriented, and collaborative approach. I understand that neither a child nor a family exists in a bubble. That is why I consider reaching out to schools, medical professionals and community agencies to be integral components of treatment. This is also why my website is designed to not only be a method of obtaining important information about my practice, but also serve as a gateway for understanding various issues in mental health, education, and the psychological impact of current events. I believe that trust, empathy, and a supportive therapeutic relationship are not only helpful in treatment but necessary. I will provide a warm, caring, and safe environment so that my clients can have a level of comfort when working toward their goals.
I have successfully treated individuals with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Mood Disorders (Unipolar Depression and Bipolar Disorder), Anxiety Disorders, Learning Difficulties, and Asperger’s Disorder. I have also helped individuals develop the skills to cope with trauma, divorce, and other adjustment issues. I also specialize in providing therapeutic services to siblings and families of individuals with significant disabilities.
I have also served as a court-appointed expert in several family court matters; conducting reunification therapy, custody neutral assessments, and high conflict case management. I
